This book basically caught my eyes with its cover, because I've actually seen that couple on the cover on an exactly same image on internet. But when I saw that three sentences on the cover, you know what? I know that I would love to read this one, like obviously.
I really love the premises of this book, and from what I thought would be an average sweet contemporary romance read, this book successfully turned my perception and gave me something new and fresh.

Nobody But Us told us about the young couple, Will and Zoe, as they drove across states and ran away from their old life, leaving everything they once knew and aimed for Las Vegas. Will leaved his crappy foster home. Zoe leaved her abusive father. And together, they believe they were strong enough to live. Happily.
But when Will's dark past and wrongdoings began to catch up with them, and when Zoe realize that love was not enough for them to survive, what will they have to sacrifice to stay together?
The beginning of this novel was totally gripping and instantly pulled us into the story, with Zoe ran away from home and was confronted by her drunk father. It was intense, with a flowing sentences that were easy to read, and I can really feel the tension between them as well.
The twist on the ending, and the revelation of Will's action all across the story was also shocking and unpredictable, and it really added the nice surprise when I was expecting something from the beginning, and in the end, it was all turned around.
Will, as our main character and Zoe's lover and partner-in-crime, was actually really interesting.
His personality was strong and solid, as well as flawed with his uncontrolled anger. And he was really believable in a way that I could totally imagine him having his own life outside the story. His voice was strong and distinct, and his reactions to things were also not typical and boring.
I also love how this story was using a character-driven plot, and that Will's temperamental personality really helped in propelling the story forward.
Zoe, our other main character as well as Will's love interest, on the other hand, was somewhat flat and not really that interesting.
Her voice was bland compared to Will's, and her personality was not really unique and memorable either. Her reaction was typical, her personality was ordinary and typical, and aside from her background story and her alcoholic father—which was quite nice but pretty much unexplained Why did he became an alcoholic? Why he hit Zoe and all?—she didn't stand out at all as a main character. And paired up with the strong and vibrant Will, well, let's just say that she was completely overshadowed.
I didn't say that she was a bad character, but she didn't really leave any impression on me.
One thing I didn't really like was the chemistry between Zoe and Will. I mean, their relationship was all this book was about. running away for love and living together on their own and all that, yet their romantic chemistry didn't seemed real and believable enough for me.
They were all kisses and hugs, but the romance was just that. Kiss and hug. Period. And I didn't feel anything—more so love—between them.
Like, they've just met for months, barely knew each other, and yet they were already madly in love with each other, and even able to run away together and wanted to get married and they would do anything for each other? Oh really? How so sweet and unbelievable.
Nobody But Us was honestly a refreshing and unique reads if you love contemporary romance, or if you're a fan of road-trip story. It had a unique main idea, and if you would love to try something different from your usual romance read, with a heavier issue than just an ordinary love and kiss and hug, this book could be a great choice.
